Sod-X Inc. supplies the best sod available. However, due to its perishability and sensitivity, all sod is sold without any guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied, of merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose, unless it is installed by Sod-X, pursuant to a separate contract.

 Sod is not weed-free and is more susceptible to various insects and diseases from March to November. For optimum performance, all sod should be treated for pests and fertilized professionally and supplemented by an adequate irrigation program.

Scheduling and Weather

The customer acknowledges the major role mother nature has in the growth and installation of sod, and that unforeseen weather conditions affecting either our farms or the property can affect the time of the delivery or process. We reserve the right to reschedule when necessary and will provide you with as much advanced notice as possible, but are not responsible for delays due to weather, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Damage Liability 

Drain fields, septic tanks, driveways, sidewalks, and irrigation systems are at high risk of damage, due to the weight of our products and equipment. Our drivers are instructed to make the easiest and safest routes to complete the delivery unless otherwise instructed by the property owner. By agreeing to these terms, you release Sod-X Inc of any and all responsibility of damages to any property as stated above or customer vehicles for pick-up purchases.
